A North Portland-based thespian ensemble PassinArt: A Theatre Co., is holding its first "Sweet Taste of the Arts" fund-raiser at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, in the Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center, 5340 N. Interstate Ave.
The evening will include a variety of desserts and appetizers from local businesses, a silent auction, raffle and live performances from local artists, including a sneak preview of PassinArt: A Theatre Co.'s upcoming spring production, "Lullaby" by Don Appell.
Admission is $10 per person; tickets are available at the Talking Drum Coffee House and Bookstore, 446 NE Killingsworth St., or online at www.passinart.org.
PassinArt: A Theatre Co. is a nonprofit theater company. Its mission is to increase the visibility and viability of African American/multicultural theater and artists in the visual, performing and culinaryartsinthe North/Northeast and greater Portland communities.
